Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred/required
• Rehab nursing or Med Surg experience strongly preferred
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to provide warm, patient-centered care in a recovery-focused environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to adult rehabilitation patients with diverse diagnoses and recovery needs
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care
• Support patients recovering from stroke, amputation, major surgeries, and neurological or orthopedic conditions
• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Promote patient safety, mobility, and progress toward rehabilitation goals
• Maintain a positive, professional presence on the unit and contribute to a collaborative team culture
