Job Details

• Position: Travel Women's Health Registered Nurse
• Specialty: Labor & Delivery RN / Postpartum RN / OB-GYN RN / Nursery RN
• Location: On-site in Lander, WY
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480

Job Requirements

• Active Wyoming RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent registered nurse experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, and L&D/LDRP
• Experience caring for OB/GYN patients, including antepartum, triage, labor & delivery, postpartum, and post-op hysterectomy patients
• Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications from the American Heart Association, where applicable
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
• Ability to adapt to changing census needs and provide cross-unit support as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
• Administer medications, collect specimens, and perform ordered clinical treatments
• Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and ambulation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care, discharge planning, referrals, and support services
• Provide patient and family education tailored to age, culture, condition, and circumstances
• Circulate during C-sections, attend deliveries, and assist the physician as needed
• Support recovery and care for surgical patients in accordance with established policies and best practices
• Attend the neonatal station in the C-section suite and assess the newborn after delivery
• Float to other units as needed to assist with staffing needs, including helping hands or sitter support
