Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,710 - $1,800
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• Unit Size: 40-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Charting System: Meditech
• Floating: Required as needed
• Start Date: September 2, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and support a collaborative care team
• Comfortable floating to other units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret changes, and communicate findings promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Promote a positive patient experience through professional, reliable nursing care
