• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040-$2,150

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• ICU experience or strong clinical skills appropriate for LTACH care
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Complete a thorough nursing assessment for each patient within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
• Support patient rehabilitation goals and promote positive outcomes through patient and family education
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide teaching in anticipation of discharge
• Communicate timely updates regarding patient status to physicians, charge nurses, and team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while following all safety policies and procedures
• Contribute to team collaboration, unit efficiency, and professional growth
