• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,660-$1,750
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend/holiday

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience highly desired
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTAC and acute care environment
• Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and high standards of nursing care

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support patient rehabilitation, education, and ongoing clinical care throughout the treatment process
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and reinforce teaching as discharge approaches
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians, charge nurses, and other care team members
• Guide, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe environment by following hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures
• Participate in team-building efforts and contribute to a positive LTAC unit culture
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities after orientation, as assigned
