- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; LTAC or rehab experience preferred
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Comfortable supporting patient safety, communication, and discharge planning
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide an individualized plan of care
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
- Participate in patient rehabilitation and support goal achievement with a positive, encouraging approach
- Initiate discharge planning and begin patient/family teaching early in the admission process
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to support safe, continuous care
- Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing staff appropriately
- Promote a safe, calm, and efficient unit environment while supporting quality outcomes
- Contribute to team collaboration, professional growth, and ongoing learning
