Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU / ICU nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications through AHA
• Experience with telemetry, ventilator management, and critical care monitoring
• Proficiency starting IVs and interpreting dysrhythmias
• Experience caring for patients with multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, and other critical diagnoses
• Degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity nursing care to adult MICU and critical care patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Provide care for ventilated patients and support continuous IV sedation
• Administer and manage complex therapies, including CRRT and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Document accurately in Epic and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to other units within the organization as needed
• Maintain a patient-centered, safety-focused approach in a collaborative ICU environment
