Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience or similar acute care experience
• BLS required
• ACLS or PALS preferred
• Ability to thrive in a very team-oriented, fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort working rotating weekends
• Meditech experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients in an acute care setting
• Care for patients recovering from total joint replacements, complex spine cases, complex neuro surgeries, and general surgery
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Support safe, efficient care delivery in a busy 32-bed medical-surgical unit
• Float as needed to Med/Tele and Surgical Specialty areas
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and follow unit standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while contributing to a positive team culture
