• Unit Setting: 49-bed Med/Surg unit with a supportive interdisciplinary care team

Job Requirements

• Active Missouri RN license
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort with 12-hour night shifts and weekend scheduling

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform and monitor IV therapy, Foley and external urinary catheter care, wound care, post-op care, trach care, NG tube care, and feeding tube care
• Support patient safety, comfort, and recovery through attentive assessments and timely interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Use bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and personal connection practices to enhance the patient experience
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit workflow standards
