• Setting: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Bentonville, AR 72712
• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Call: Approximately 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,700–$1,790

PACU RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts and participate in call rotation
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and patient recovery skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care for surgical patients recovering from procedures
• Monitor vital signs, airway status, pain control, and overall patient stability during recovery
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to ensure safe transitions of care
• Deliver clear patient education and support during the recovery process
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and best practices
