• Setting: ED Boarder / Med-Surg Tele Overflow
• Location: Bel Air, Maryland 21014

• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 - 19:30)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: As scheduled
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,920 - $2,020

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry or acute-care telemetry experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to float within specialty as needed
• Strong telemetry skills, including rhythm interpretation
• Comfortable working in a high-acuity, high-turnover ED boarder environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses
• Monitor telemetry and assess for changes in cardiac rhythm and patient condition
• Manage med/surg overflow patients in a busy ED boarder setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and communicate patient updates clearly
• Support patient flow and adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume acute-care unit
• Float within specialty as needed to meet unit demands
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times
• Deliver compassionate bedside care while promoting positive patient outcomes
