Travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico, and join a fast-paced Emergency Department team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) providing high-acuity patient care across the lifespan.

This 13-week travel RN assignment offers the opportunity to strengthen your emergency nursing skills in a busy, collaborative emergency care environment. Work night shifts while serving a diverse patient population in central Albuquerque, a vibrant Southwest city known for its culture, sunshine, and outdoor adventure.

Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Emergency Department RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week, with an option for 48-hour scheduling
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI and TNCC preferred
• Experience with emergency triage, rapid assessment, and patient stabilization
• Comfortable caring for a broad range of patient ages and acuity levels
• Strong skills in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment
• Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of unstable and acutely ill patients
• Assist with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other time-sensitive emergency presentations
• Manage IV access, blood product administration, respiratory support, and medication delivery as indicated
• Support procedural sedation, central line care, arterial line management, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical protocols and safety standards
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs while delivering efficient, team-oriented care
