Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative care team
• Previous LTAC, acute care, telemetry, step-down, or med-surg nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on assigned patients and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide timely, accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and communicate changes in patient status
• Support patient rehabilitation efforts with a focus on education, recovery, and quality outcomes
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching early in the admission process
• Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing personnel appropriately
• Promote safety, infection prevention, and adherence to clinical policies and procedures
• Contribute to a calm, positive, and efficient unit environment
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation, as needed
