• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,520 - $1,600

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience or experience in a closely related specialty
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Current AHA ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with Cerner preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort caring for higher-acuity post-operative patients

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate recovery care for post-operative patients in a busy PACU setting
• Monitor patients closely following thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery procedures
• Assess vital signs, pain levels, airway status, and overall patient stability during recovery
• Collaborate with the charge nurse, supervisor, and surgical teams to support smooth patient flow
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when needed
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support a 24/7 post-anesthesia care unit with holiday call coverage as needed
