Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, including telemetry experience
• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS and NIHSS required
• ACLS preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Supervisory reference from within the last year required
• Experience caring for adult stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care patients strongly preferred
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to adults with cardiac, neurologic, respiratory, and complex medical needs
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical intervention
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, including pre- and post-cath lab cases
• Administer and manage IV medications, blood products, oxygen therapy, and cardiac drips per unit protocols
• Support patients with conditions such as heart failure, NSTEMI, sepsis, CVA, renal failure, and arrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical and infection control standards
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response or code team activities as needed
