Job Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; self-scheduling available
• Floating: May float within EP and Stress Lab departments
• Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida, a welcoming coastal community known for its beaches, outdoor recreation, and laid-back Gulf Coast atmosphere

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with Structural Heart procedures preferred
• Experience with IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR preferred
• Strong knowledge of PCI and advanced cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment with strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures
• Assist with procedures such as TAVR, PFO closure, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, DCCV, TEE, implants, Impella, and IABP support
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and the procedural team to support efficient workflow
• Maintain accurate documentation using unit systems and follow established clinical protocols
• Adapt to self-scheduling expectations and contribute to call coverage as needed
• Support a patient-centered environment with professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail
