• Floating: May assist in Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of Mother/Baby or Post Partum nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• STABLE certification preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for patients receiving Magnesium Sulfate post-delivery preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, teaching-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate postpartum care to mothers and newborns
• Monitor couplets and support family-centered recovery and bonding
• Administer medications and follow unit protocols for maternal and newborn care
• Assist with procedures such as circumcisions as directed by the care team
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Support a positive, educational environment for patients and families
• Assist in Labor & Delivery and NICU as a helping hand when needed
