- Shift: Variable 10-hour day shifts, including 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,700 - $2,840
- Weekend Requirements: None
- Call Requirements: None
- Charting System: Cerner
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology prep and recovery
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in prep and recovery nursing
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher
- Preferred experience in a prep and recovery area, cardiac care unit, or procedural recovery setting
- Preferred familiarity with post-anesthesia recovery, vascular line pulls, and post-cardiac or interventional radiology assessments
- Strong multitasking skills and a motivated, team-oriented approach
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology patients
- Monitor adult and geriatric patients during recovery and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Perform thorough assessments after cardiac and interventional procedures
- Assist with vascular line removals and other recovery-related clinical tasks as appropriate
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner and support smooth patient flow throughout the unit
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiovascular team members, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care
- Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy procedural recovery environment
