• Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling / unit needs
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Floating: Travelers may float to other ICU settings or step-down units
• Documentation System: Cerner

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS required
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience caring for neurological ICU patients preferred
• Strong comfort with high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environments
• Ability to adapt quickly, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled bedside care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage neuro and post-operative critical care patients
• Support care for post-thrombectomy, TPA, and post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform and assist with advanced ICU procedures, including CRRT, bedside EVD management, and A-line monitoring
• Deliver safe, compassionate patient care while responding to changing conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to maintain high standards of care
• Follow unit policies, documentation standards, and scheduling expectations
