• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,360 - $1,430
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Schedule Notes: Weekend shifts required
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 01/02/2027

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Postpartum, Mother-Baby, or similar nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NRP certification required
• Travel nursing experience preferred in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare setting
• Ability to work required weekend shifts
• Strong communication, adaptability, and patient-centered care skills

Postpartum RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
• Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and support postpartum education
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Respond to changing patient needs in a dynamic postpartum unit environment
• Educate and support families throughout the postpartum recovery process
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold excellent clinical standards
