• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 12x3; typically 36 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,360 - $1,430

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Mother/Baby, postpartum, or maternity nursing experience
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NRP certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a dynamic maternity and postpartum setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Commitment to working required holiday coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor maternal and infant recovery and identify changes in condition promptly
• Support breastfeeding education, newborn care teaching, and discharge preparation
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
• Respond to the needs of patients and families with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain a calm, organized approach in a busy Mother/Baby unit
