• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570-$1,650
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 5:1
• Charting System: Meditech
• Floating: May float to ICU or Med-Surg

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent progressive care, telemetry, or similar acute care nursing experience
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to interpret EKGs confidently
• Experience titrating cardiac medications preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care for progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Interpret EKG rhythms and assist with cardiac medication titration as needed
• Perform and support occasional procedures such as paracentesis or thoracentesis
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the EMR
• Maintain professionalism while floating to ICU or Med-Surg when needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-centered unit culture focused on excellent acute care
