Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Shift: 3x12-hour nights
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,740 - $1,840
- Schedule: Weekend coverage required; self-scheduling in a structured unit setting

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation preferred
- Comfort working with neuro stepdown, stroke, and telemetry patient populations
- Electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Must be willing to float between like units as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients with neuro and stroke-related diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and support ongoing patient care plans
- Collaborate with rapid response, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and other support services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Support a patient ratio of approximately 1:4 on days and nights
- Help promote a safe, compassionate, and team-oriented environment for patients and families
