• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030

• Setting: Obstetrical care environment with potential floating to other units as needed

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent travel nurse experience preferred
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby care
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• PALS required or obtained within 30 days of start if needed
• AWHONN preferred; may be completed onsite
• Must be flexible to float to other units based on facility needs
• Florida AHCA compliance required for placement

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Demonstrate critical thinking, sound clinical judgment, and leadership in high-acuity obstetrical situations
• Support safe delivery of care by anticipating patient and unit needs
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional development
• Delegate and prioritize patient care appropriately based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Adapt to changing unit needs and provide support across applicable care areas when required
