Job Details

• Position: Operating Room RN / Perioperative Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Location: Pasadena, TX 77504
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• On Call: Required weekly and one weekend per month
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Setting: Multi-specialty operating room
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current Operating Room Nurse experience in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology
• Preferred experience in ENT, vascular (non-cardiac), and pediatric surgical cases
• BSN preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work proactively in a dynamic surgical environment
• Experience supporting patient safety and sterile technique in the OR

Responsibilities

• Provide circulating RN support for a variety of surgical procedures
• Assist with open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery cases
• Support robotic orthopedic procedures and total knee/hip replacements
• Assist with trauma orthopedic cases and emergent interventions
• Support laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to maintain patient safety and workflow
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented operating room culture
