Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• At least 1 year of experience in a NICU or special care nursery setting
• Experience caring for premature infants, underweight newborns, and high-acuity neonatal patients
• Comfort working rotating day and night shifts
• Epic experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neonatal nursing care in a special care nursery/NICU environment
• Monitor infants requiring cardiac monitoring and close observation
• Support the care of premature births, low birth weight babies, and medically fragile newborns
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record using Epic
• Deliver family-centered care with compassion and professionalism
• Adapt to rotating shifts while maintaining excellent patient care standards
