Job Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state RN license
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Current PALS certification from AHA required
• Current TNCC or ATCN certification required
• CPI / de-escalation certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide age-appropriate emergency nursing care
• Knowledge of patient rights, safe nursing practice, and quality patient care standards

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient, and safe nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Complete timely assessments, identify priorities, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on patient needs
• Administer and document interventions, reassess outcomes, and adjust care as needed
• Support patient and family education, including discharge planning and follow-up instructions
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures as assigned
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other care team members to promote quality outcomes
• Maintain professional standards consistent with unit guidelines and emergency nursing best practices
