• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Nursing, Acute Care
• Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
• Work Environment: On-site hospital nursing role

Job Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or current compact state RN license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience or related acute care experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently in a busy patient care setting
• Ability to adapt to rotating weekend and on-call expectations as needed
• Comfortable floating to other Medical/Surgical departments when assigned
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to assigned Med/Surg patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor patient response
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans, discharge instructions, and available resources
• Address the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families with professionalism and empathy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and support safe patient care through appropriate delegation
• Float to other Med/Surg areas as needed to support patient care operations
