Job Details

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or critical care setting
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with and manage advanced procedures including central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD care as assigned
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
• Deliver attentive care to patients and family members while maintaining a calm, professional presence
• Float to med/surg as needed based on staffing requirements
• Follow unit policies, documentation standards, and patient safety protocols
