• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,550 - $1,630
• Location: Bowling Green, KY 42104
• Work Setting: On-site telemetry unit
• Schedule Note: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May float to Orthopedics/Med-Surg as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Comfort working in a telemetry environment with a 4:1 patient ratio, with occasional increases up to 6:1 or 7:1
• Experience with Meditech documentation preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a dynamic acute-care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to the plan of care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient care
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube management, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Follow telemetry monitoring and stroke policies to support patient safety and quality outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while helping maintain a strong patient experience
