• Patient Ratio: 1:4 or 1:3

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of assignment
• 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cardiac stepdown, telemetry, intermediate care, or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients with cardiac and medical-surgical conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, sepsis, atrial fibrillation with RVR, and respiratory failure
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately
• Perform ongoing assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Float to medical-surgical and telemetry areas as needed, including ED holds for admission support
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach while working 12-hour day shifts
