• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC)
• Location: Davenport, IA 52803
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040 - $2,150
• Start: ASAP

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse licensure in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside critical care or acute care clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused LTAC environment
• Experience supporting adult patients in a long-term acute care or similar high-acuity setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete timely nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the care team
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Educate patients and families to support recovery, safety, and discharge planning
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support continuity of care
• Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive environment for patients, families, and staff
