- Duration: 12 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040 - $2,150
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Strong clinical skills in maternal, fetal, and newborn care
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- Completion of required onboarding and compliance documentation as assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Assist with admissions, deliveries, recoveries, and postpartum support
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the care team
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow unit protocols
- Promote a calm, compassionate, family-centered patient experience
