Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Assignment – Lake Geneva, WI

Experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Join a fast-paced Emergency Department, support high-acuity patient care, and work with a collaborative interdisciplinary healthcare team in a scenic lakeside community.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Rotation weekends; 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM with some 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM shifts as needed
• Hours Per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• RN education verification
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with diverse and complex needs
• Perform comprehensive assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations of patient care
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and Wisconsin state practice guidelines
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Educate patients and families as part of the emergency care process
• Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance activities
• Use clinical expertise to support other teams and promote safe, coordinated patient care
• Escalate concerns appropriately to support patient safety and a positive patient experience
