• Position: Psych Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health RN / Mental Health Nurse)
• Location: Corvallis, Oregon 97330
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every third weekend
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Setting: Acute care behavioral health / mental health services
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment

Job Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Experience supporting patients with psychiatric, emotional, or behavioral health needs preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every third weekend
• Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate direct and indirect nursing care within scope of practice
• Assess, evaluate, and intervene for late adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in acute mental or emotional distress
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary behavioral health team to support quality patient outcomes
• Promote a therapeutic, respectful environment for patients and their support systems
• Document care accurately and maintain professional standards throughout the travel assignment
