Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Experience with labor management and circulating cesarean sections
• Ability to support vaginal deliveries, triage, and antepartum care
• Experience in maternal-fetal nursing, postpartum care, or obstetrics preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Comfort working in a busy, high-acuity maternal care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and antepartum patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections in a high-volume L&D unit
• Monitor patients using fetal monitoring equipment and follow established clinical guidelines
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, OB techs, and the care team to support smooth unit operations
• Respond to changing patient needs with strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Float as needed to support mother-baby care when appropriate
• Help maintain a positive, supportive environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
