• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends, approximately 4 weekend shifts per month
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• EMR: Epic

Job Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level III or higher NICU experience
• Experience caring for premature and critically ill neonates
• Competency with CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), and mechanical ventilation
• Experience with UAC/UVC lines, PICC lines, and central line management
• Experience administering TPN/lipids, IV medications, and neonatal drips
• Strong neonatal assessment, stabilization, and clinical deterioration recognition skills
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced NICU environment

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for neonates with a wide range of acuity levels in a Level III or higher NICU
• Perform neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and continuous patient monitoring
• Manage respiratory support, including CPAP, HFNC, and mechanical ventilation
• Assist with surfactant administration, line management, and neonatal medication therapy
• Support infants receiving phototherapy, blood products, TPN, and specialized feeding plans
• Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond quickly to clinical deterioration
• Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Provide family-centered education and support throughout the hospitalization
• Float to the well-baby nursery as needed
• Contribute to a safe, compassionate, and highly coordinated neonatal care environment
