Job Details
- Location: Fort Worth, TX 76104
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Unit Type: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Cardiovascular Progressive Care / Step-Down
- Floating: May float to sister step-down and medical-surgical units as needed
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Cardiovascular and progressive care experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity acute care setting
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Progressive Care Unit / PCU nursing environment
- Monitor and manage patients recovering from cardiac cath procedures and post-op CABG surgery
- Assess patient conditions, identify changes early, and communicate promptly with the healthcare team
- Document nursing care accurately in the facility’s clinical systems
- Support safe, efficient patient care while demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and accountability
- Float to related step-down and medical-surgical units when needed based on patient care demands
