• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Call Requirement: Every 5th or 6th weekend, plus one weekday
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Patient Population: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand or compact license required at submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience circulating OR cases with proficiency in orthopedics, general surgery, and OB C-sections
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong charting and documentation experience in an electronic health record (EHR) environment
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this travel nurse assignment
• Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent teamwork and communication
• Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Circulate operating room cases with accuracy, efficiency, and a patient-centered approach
• Support a broad surgical case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, OB C-sections, GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and more
• Maintain safe perioperative practices, including time-out procedures, specimen handling, infection control, and fire safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical support staff to ensure smooth OR case flow
• Provide care across a diverse patient population in a 5-room Operating Room environment with an average daily census of 12
• Adapt to changing case needs and contribute to a positive, high-performing surgical team
• Support weekend and weekday call coverage as scheduled
• Float to other units as needed within scope and competency
