Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU / Critical Care RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: 09/29/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Call Requirement: Participation in call rotation with 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Unit Focus: Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Job Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license in good standing
• At least 3 years of critical care RN experience preferred
• Strong CVICU experience required, including day-zero CVICU experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to support both CVICU and CCU patient care needs
• Must be comfortable with rotating call responsibilities
• Travel RN candidates should meet assignment distance requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular ICU and critical care patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Collaborate closely with physicians, cath lab staff, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support patients requiring advanced cardiac and critical care interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver safe, compassionate bedside care
• Participate in weekend rotation and on-call coverage as scheduled
• Adapt to the needs of a smaller community hospital while helping patients recover close to home
