Job Details
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU / Critical Care RN
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Start Date: 09/29/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Call Requirement: Participation in call rotation with 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
- Unit Focus: Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Job Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license in good standing
- At least 3 years of critical care RN experience preferred
- Strong CVICU experience required, including day-zero CVICU experience
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to support both CVICU and CCU patient care needs
- Must be comfortable with rotating call responsibilities
- Travel RN candidates should meet assignment distance requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiovascular ICU and critical care patients
- Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a fast-paced ICU setting
- Collaborate closely with physicians, cath lab staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- Support patients requiring advanced cardiac and critical care interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and deliver safe, compassionate bedside care
- Participate in weekend rotation and on-call coverage as scheduled
- Adapt to the needs of a smaller community hospital while helping patients recover close to home
