• Shift Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty or operating room nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS certification from AHA
• PALS certification from AHA
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Ability to work independently in a busy surgical and perioperative care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care in the operating room setting
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes throughout the surgical process
• Support a wide range of surgical cases, including general surgery, neurosurgery, spine, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and vascular procedures
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate clinical protocols and safety standards
• Monitor patients for treatment effectiveness, complications, and potential side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided in the medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers as needed to support safe recovery and discharge planning
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
