Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment in Tuba City, Arizona

Travel nursing opportunity for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse in Tuba City, AZ. Join a collaborative perioperative team and provide hands-on patient care in a dynamic surgical services environment serving a culturally rich and scenic region of the Colorado Plateau.

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, plus on-call
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Orientation: Every 2 weeks
• Additional Notes: Must be prepared for varied hours and occasional short-notice emergency cases

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nurse and/or operating room experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire
• CNOR certification within 1 year of hire
• TNCC certification within 2 years of hire
• Perioperative nursing or scrubbing experience is highly encouraged

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for perioperative and surgical patients
• Circulate in multiple specialty areas, including orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, general surgery, ophthalmology, and dental procedures
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Support emergency surgical cases and respond quickly to urgent clinical needs
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Adapt to varied scheduling and on-call responsibilities as needed
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and efficient operating room workflow throughout each shift
