Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Experience with high-risk OB patients strongly preferred
- Ability to manage medication infusions, including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a patient-first mindset
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shift nursing schedules in a fast-paced acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care for laboring, postpartum, and maternal-newborn patients
- Monitor high-risk OB patients and respond appropriately to changing conditions
- Administer and titrate obstetric medication infusions per unit protocols
- Start IVs and support clinical procedures as needed
- Collaborate with anesthesia, lab, techs, and other members of the healthcare team
- Support a positive, dependable, and team-oriented unit culture
- Deliver high-quality care while maintaining excellent communication and documentation
