Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, surgical safety, and patient advocacy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operating room setting with excellent attention to detail
• Previous RN circulator experience, scrub experience, or completion of a Peri-op 101 course preferred
• Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills for collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Serve as a patient advocate throughout the intraoperative experience
• Support surgical site verification, specimen handling, and infection prevention protocols to maintain patient safety
• Administer medications accurately and help maintain physiologic stability during procedures
• Protect patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
• Document nursing care clearly, thoroughly, and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to deliver coordinated care
• Support operating room and perioperative services as needed and perform additional duties assigned
