• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Hours Per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience
• ICU experience required
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced LTAC nursing setting

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide individualized care planning
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify teaching needs and care goals
• Provide accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Participate in patient rehabilitation activities and support progress toward clinical goals
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care providers to support continuity and patient safety
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe environment for patients, families, and team members
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative unit culture
• Maintain efficient use of time, supplies, and resources while supporting quality patient outcomes
