• Shift Schedule: Nights; block scheduling with a 36/48-hour alternating pattern

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Orientation: 48 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred
• Patient Ratio: 4:1 days, nights, and weekends

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, ready in hand before start
• Emergency nursing experience preferred; 3 years preferred, and less experience may be considered
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• Nursys verification required with submission
• Ability to complete required compliance items within 72 hours of offer acceptance
• Flexible to work in a busy ED environment with a diverse patient population
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
• Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to emergency patients across all age groups
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and presenting symptoms
• Administer medications, initiate IV access, and support emergency interventions
• Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilatory support, cardiac monitoring, or procedural sedation
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely diagnosis and treatment
• Respond to trauma, stroke, respiratory, cardiac, behavioral health, and other emergency presentations
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record
• Promote a positive patient experience while delivering high-quality emergency nursing care
