• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,110
• Charting System: EPIC
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: May be required within the specialty

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at the time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• First-time travelers with strong fast-paced ER experience are welcome to apply
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work confidently in a busy emergency care setting
• Comfort caring for adult and geriatric patients in an emergency department

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy emergency department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with urgent and emergent needs
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and support rapid clinical decision-making
• Care for patients experiencing trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, behavioral health crises, and other emergency conditions
• Assist with common ER interventions and procedures as clinically appropriate
• Document accurately in EPIC and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver patient-centered care while adapting to the pace and demands of emergency room nursing
