Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• ENPC certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Meditech experience preferred
• Trauma nursing experience preferred
• Inpatient nursing experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Strong multitasking, teamwork, and self-starter mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a varied patient population in a busy ED setting
• Support trauma, cardiac, and behavioral health patients with safe, efficient emergency care
• Perform and assist with procedures such as splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, central line support, and airway support
• Use critical thinking, calm communication, and effective prioritization to manage patient care
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the healthcare team to deliver timely interventions
• Assist with rapid response, resuscitation, and behavioral health de-escalation as needed
