• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Schedule: Day shift, with rotating weekends possible
• Call: On-call requirements are split and dependent on staffing

CVOR Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to scrub and proficiency across multiple service lines
• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking skills, and critical thinking ability
• Excellent communication skills and a professional bedside manner
• Experience charting accurately and efficiently in a clinical environment
• Preferred experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing, surgical services, or travel nursing roles

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative care for cardiovascular surgery patients
• Assist with patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Scrub and support a variety of surgical cases, including joint replacement, ENT, ortho, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team in a 1:1 patient ratio setting
• Support procedures involving advanced equipment such as Impella, ECMO, bypass pumps, laser lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfusion
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech
• Contribute to a high-performing surgical team in a dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment
