Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Ability to pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Current ACLS certification through AHA
• Must successfully complete ECG/telemetry and medication testing during onboarding
• Strong critical thinking skills and a professional development mindset
• Charge Nurse experience preferred
• Comfortable floating to like units and overflow areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient status promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with standards of practice
• Perform comprehensive assessments and communicate effectively with the care team
• Float to other Med/Surg Tele floors and like units as needed
• Support overflow areas while maintaining excellent patient care and teamwork
• Document accurately and maintain compliance with unit and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes
